Storm delays expand, spread from NYC to Florida

USA TodayUSA Today – Significant flight delays had popped up at many of the East’s busiest airports by Tuesday afternoon, ranging from South Florida to New York as storms moved across the Atlantic seaboard.

Delays averaging 45 to 90 minutes were affecting New York JFK, Philadelphia, Washington Reagan National and Washington Dulles airports as of 6:20 p.m. ET, according to the Federal Aviation Administration’s flight delay map.
