Sandy: Flight cancellations top 20,000, but start to ease

USA TodayUSA Today – The number of Sandy-related flight cancellations remained significant on Thursday, but finally started to tail off following this week’s “superstorm.”

Flight-tracking service FlightStats says 873 flights — most at the New York-area airports — were canceled today (Nov. 1) and that another 36 have been tomorrow because of Sandy.
